Hi there, I'm Lizzie!
I am an actor and educator in the DMV, performing most recently with Riverside Center for the Performing Arts, Creative Cauldron, Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, and Little Theatre of Alexandria. Favorite credits include Diana: The Musical (Princess Diana), Into the Woods (Cinderella), The Addams Family (Morticia), Tootsie (Sandy), Beverly Hillbillies: The Musical (Elly May Clampett), and Matilda (Miss Honey).

As a voice teacher, I love helping my students learn to use their instrument in new ways, with an emphasis on using proper foundational technique, minimizing tension, and creating a sustainable, healthy sound. Students may choose to work on building an audition book, developing recital repertoire, or just singing songs they love!

With my piano students, I follow the Faber & Faber curriculum to provide a strong foundation in music theory and proper playing technique. I also encourage my students to select "challenge pieces" slightly above the difficulty level of their lesson books to create long-term goals and learn how to approach something that may initially seem out of reach.

When not teaching or performing, I love being outdoors, playing with my adorable goldendoodle, crafting (just about any kind you can think of!), and nerding out over Magic: The Gathering, DnD, books, etc.
